With the season over, there's nothing much to report about other than unsubstantiated rumors from beat writers looking to fill up their allotted sections of the newspaper/website. Here are a few culled from the internet:
1. Wizards Looking at Chris Wilcox
"One big man whom the Wizards may consider is former Maryland star Chris Wilcox, who will be a restricted free agent. The power forward, who left Maryland after his sophomore season in 2002, played the best ball of his career after a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers to Seattle last season. In 29 games with the SuperSonics, Wilcox averaged a career-high 14.1 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 59.2 percent from the field."
Sund is seemingly hell-bent on retaining Wilcox, but if the right offer comes along ...
2. Bulls Looking at Lewis, Allen
"The Bulls would be leery of adding Indiana’s Jermaine O’Neal because of his huge salary and considerable baggage. They could make a run at players such as Lamar Odom, Rashard Lewis or Ray Allen."
Or, conversely, the Bulls could build a time machine and transport the entire franchise back to 1995. Either is equally likely.
3. Magic, MJ, Sir Charles Buying a Team?
"Johnson envisions a setup that would have Jordan running the basketball operations. He would handle the business side and Barkley would be, well, Barkley."
I've heard there's a couple of teams in the Northwest in need of help. How sweet would it be to have Charles Barkley involved in Sonics' ownership? Hell, we wouldn't have to write anything here, we could just Barkley quotes every day and take the rest of the day off.

How can you say that the Bulls would be leery of Jermaine's salary, then in the next breathe mention possibly going after Ray-Ray?
Hey, you worry about your Jailblazers dammnit. Lol, just f*ckin with ya Lance.
Hey, i'll get Telfair to stop packing heat on road trips if you get Rashard to stop pounding Camo 40's before his evening commute.
I am a big Barkley fan but MJ worries me. He sucked as a GM in Washington. He is so competitive and cocky you can't tell me he wouldn't have to get himself involved in player acquisitions.
Not real high on Magic as a front office guy either.
