Robert Swift, Elder Statesman?

Fascinating piece in the NY Times about Jeremy Tyler, the former future Louisville Cardinal who spent a forgettable year in Israel before winding up in Japan, where he's been led by former Sonic Robert Swift and ex-Sonic coach Bob Hill.

From the story:

In the team’s Japanese group dynamics, Swift, who played under Hill in Seattle at age 19 after being picked 12th over all in the 2004 N.B.A. draft out of high school, has taken the role of senpai (senior) to the kohai (junior) Tyler.
Worth a read.
