How hypocritical will Seattle look in the ideas of the rest of the country if that comes to pass?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758702.post-56206089337488646342008-03-28T12:15:00.000-07:002008-03-28T12:15:00.000-07:00I love your comment a the end HAHAI love your comment a the end HAHAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758702.post-31665076542240052752008-03-28T11:16:00.000-07:002008-03-28T11:16:00.000-07:00agree with Sonics Man. I think about 90% of the stuff we read in the newspapers is for the benefit of the opposing side - and that goes for Stern as well as the City as well as Clay Bennett. It's all posturing. This team is not gone until it is gone, IMO.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758702.post-19234894723125788722008-03-28T11:03:00.000-07:002008-03-28T11:03:00.000-07:00The City is trying to pressure the state even more...The City is trying to pressure the state even more. I think this is all part of the game and at the end of the day no one involved is going to let the Sonics Franchise walk without a team in return. Don't let yourself judge the outcome by what happens today or yesterday. Each day will bring new directions and different parts to the whole game. The City feels in control and they are playing it well. Let them work and don't read to much into anything at this point. Ceis is a good man who is very involved in this and he is not going to lose this now and look bad.Sonics Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11442347593235276142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758702.post-19478929997007349612008-03-28T10:00:00.000-07:002008-03-28T10:00:00.000-07:00I admire the heck out of Tim Ceis and Greg Nickels...I admire the heck out of Tim Ceis and Greg Nickels for all they've done to keep the team here, but it sure seems from reading that article that the city is in full CYA mode. They don't want to catch the heat if the team leaves, so they're pointing the finger at the state. It really sucks that the NBA is forcing a city with a 40-year history to prostitute itself like this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758702.post-21023021033161083812008-03-28T09:48:00.000-07:002008-03-28T09:48:00.000-07:00When I read Thiel's story today, I just about spit...When I read Thiel's story today, I just about spit out my cereal. If the future of the Sonics in Seattle hinges on the state legislature coughing up $75 million, then there is no future of the Sonics in Seattle.

Crap.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
