Say hello to our new (fake) dance team!
The Seattle Supersonics close out their pre-season tonight against the Portland Trailblazers at Key Arena. Because most of the roster is injured, The Sonics will be starting only three players: Damien Wilkens, Mateen Cleaves, and Squatch.
The "game" will be shown on FSN tonight, and I will be watching because I am too stupid not to.
Just in case anyone is wondering, all 3 of us are still Sonic fans. Our collective anger stems only from frustration with the direction of the team, and not because we (shudder) like the Blazers or something.

Well, maybe Karl Malone is ahead of the Blazers.
It's true. I love the Sonics. Ever since George Karl was chased out of town, though, it's been "tough love".
ReplyDeleteI look at my condition as somewhat of a sickness. Affliction, addiction, whatever you want to call it. I can't NOT love the Sonics. I've tried in the past, I've tried to spread my love around equally to the other Seattle pro teams, but I just keep going back to the Sonics like someone in a dysfunctional relationship.
