Finally, some freakin' news!According to DraftExpress.com, Rashard Lewis may be headed to the Phoenix Suns for Shawn Marion:
Multiple sources told DraftExpress today that the Phoenix Suns and Seattle Supersonics are working on a potential blockbuster trade. The Sonics have implied to numerous people over the past 48 hours that “something is going to go down,” while another source in Seattle told us that the Supersonics are “getting very close” to finalizing a trade.Read the whole story here.

ReplyDeleteI don't know. How sure are they that Lewis won't resign? He can score from anywhere on the court. He is VERY valuable.
ReplyDeleteMarion is just another superb athlete with an unreliable jumpshot.
Seems like an even trade to me. Lose Lewis' 3pt threat for a few more rebounds and drives to the basket from Marion. Lewis has been here through so many bad seasons that he often doesnt get the respect he deserves. He's probably ready to move on. Plus we'd have Marion for 3 seasons!
ReplyDeleteThe times has a very tiny section in an article on hidden gems in the second round that claims that seattle is considering trading ray allen to toronto for their first round pick and some players. That somehow seems REALLY unlikely.
