Paul, I'm suprised you didn't take the one-year (chicken) tender offer.-Q
Nice to see you back where you belong, Paul. Count me in the "Whatever" corner on this one. Whether the Sonics have Flip or not isn't really that vital to the team's playoff chances. Yes, it's nice to have Flip for a game or two if Allen goes down; but let's face it, if Sugar Ray misses more than half a dozen games, this season is toast anyway.
Flip Murray. He is the Vinnie Askew (The Fiddler, a totaly underated nickname that belongs in the all nick-name team) of these new Sonics. Loves to shoot, holds the ball too long, and does not pass much. He is GP without the skill, Kobesque in his quest of personal acheivements, great to see him back!!
Picture a giant question mark forming over my head. If this is one of those limited free-agent deals lie the one Radman signed, it means the Sonics can't trade him during the season. So I'm not sure which is worse - he's stuck with the Sonics, or the Sonics are stuck with him.
Weiss is going to have his hands full with Flip, Vlade, and maybe Evans. I hope he turns up the offense, because we were the 4th slowest team, yet our offense was so efficient we still scored a lot. If we play really fast, we can better utilize the offensive skills that made the difference for us. With Luke, Ray, Rashard, Vlade, and Nick in transition where they are deadly and Fortson and Reggie getting Offesive reabounds we could be an offensive machine. Phoenix with a bench! Or not. Flip isnt bad in transition either...
Flip Murray -All O, No D.

Anyone have a take on Tim Grgurich wanting out of Portland?http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/4920440?CMP=OTC-K9B140813162&ATT=73Looks like Nate's cleaning house down in Portland. Any value for us to acquire someone like him as an assistant?RL
