Who in Holy Hell is third guy in that photo? Is he Bennett's closet NYC boyfriend? The new choreographer for the Sonics' dance team?

Believe it or not, that man is 2nd in command to David Stern. Yes, that's right, Adam Silver is COO of the NBA and Deputy Commissioner, meaning if Stern ever decides to pack it in, that freaky lookin' dude will be the boss of bosses.

In all seriousness, the guy almost looks like he's ill or something. Hey, if Adam Silver is currently undergoing treatment for some horrible disease, then I profusely apologize for what I said. If not, man, feel free to mix in a meal now and then.

It warms my heart to read that Stern and Bennett have been tight for such a long time.

Shady times ahead.

Can't say I was too thrilled to hear this from Bennett:

"We hope it's going to be successful, but there will be a point in time when Oklahoma City gets attention. So support the Hornets today, and we'll do the best we can."

Anybody have access to Chris Sheridan's blog at espn. I'm too cheap to be an Insider, and I'd like to get his on what transpired yesterday. From what I understand he took a pretty tough approach to Stern, Bennett, etc.

Well, at least Adam Silver' emaciated gauntness counters David Stern's gnomish creepiness.
