The Bob Hill era starts NOW!

Bob Hill will try to resisitate the struggling Sonics tonight as the team faces off against the Chicago Bulls at 5:30.

In case you missed it, Art Thiel wrote an interesting article about the new coach to get you prepared for the Hill Era.

Where in the HELLO was Reggie Evans during this game?????? Nice rotations Hill but sitting out one of our most energetic and enspiring players is CRAP! I am peeeeeeeeved. Go Hawkeyes!

We won, calm down. Winning is good. He played Swift and Petro to clog the lanes. It worked well. That means the PF has to be able to play offense. Hence Vlade and Nick played, and played well. The backcourt is obvious, Luke, Ray, Rashard, Flip, and Damien. Reggie and Danny get the shaft it appears, but then Danny was hurt supposedly.

Reggie may be on his way to Denver - stay tuned!

Utilizing our draft picks, imagine that! Will be interesting watching the twin towers get some run.

Next time Flip tries a 3, Coach Hill needs to call a timeout, wait for Flip to walk over to the huddle, then pimp slap the shite out of him.

that is all

Flip needs a dog training collar. If he dribbles for more than 8 seconds, he gets a shock. Same if he tries to dribble through 3 defenders. Heads up Flip: if there are 3 guys between you and the basket, that means we have 2 open guys waiting for you to pass the damn ball. The NBA ain't no Strret Ball contest.

Glad we won! I will miss the excitement and hard work from Reggie and Fortson, if this is any indication how HIll is going to work. I got super close seats, 7 rows back for Christmas and if those two arent playing I am selling them and getting myself something nice. I also thought it was interesting how well we played while Ray was out. Seems everyone relaxed more and put up some shots..hmmmmm.

From reading the accounts of Hill's demise in San Antone, sounds like he was totally Stan Van Gundied by Popovich.

You're preaching to the choir, man. I used to like the Spurs, aside from The Admiral, of course (I don't know why, maybe remembering Artis Gilmore and Mike Mitchell and, of course, the Ice Man), and I've always liked Bob Hill and hated Popovich. When Pop swooped in and took over for Hill, I carried the bitterness with me.

It was so patently unfair, knowing that the Spurs were purposely tanking the season with Robinson's phantom injury (remember him caddying in the Masters while he was "hurt?"), then picking up the most sure-fire #1 pick in NBA history in Duncan, Pop couldn't help but improve upon Hill. And besides, what did Hill do wrong? Did he not lose enough games? Were the scores too close?

No, while I like and respect Duncan, as far as I'm concerned, the Spurs went to Bronco- and Jazz-land when they canned Hill.

Reggie to Denver? For who or what? I think trading anyone but v-pot or Flip would be a mistake, cause we don't want Denver to improve. They need a big guy, we shouldn't give em anyone else than the Ukraine Train.

Nuss,
Hill might be taking on Pops role here; Play the young guys, lose games in the process, get a high pick. Reap the rewards next season. Could the eye injury be enough to keep Ray out for the rest of the season? Hmmmm.

This draft is void of any impact players. Tanking the season would be for worthless.

The difference between the lottery guys and the rest is going to be small. Who's going number 1? Lamarcus Aldridge? Yeah right... Adam Morrison is tight though...

Speaking of great college players that never pan out in the NBA...

Well top overall pick should come down to Rudy Gay and Adam Morrison. But you're right the draft doesn't look too promising.

I don't like the fact that Hill didn't play Evans but I do like the fact that Petro and Swift got some meaningful PT. And I don't think we're tanking the season, as I don't think any team would be able to get its players to lose on purpose. No one likes losing and players don't have that much invested in a franchise's future.

I saw this blurb today, which seems pretty ass. Why any team would want a piece of shit like McInnis is beyond me. You think Flip is a shoot first PG? McInnis makes him look like John Stockton. I should probably spend more time working on my own blog.
