For the first time in training camp, Danny Fortson participated in a scrimmage, which was open to the media. Sounds like a new episode for you and Chunks to draw up. Make sure to include Danny abusing Swift and doing the cross-over on him. LOL!
It's going to be a long season for our centers... (groan!)
Yeah, Paul, get working on the new script! I don't do those fruity "no-talking or violence" cartoons you know.
Has anyone figured out why we like Fortson so much? There are a number of possibilities, including his ridiculous hair, the fouls, the girth, the way he attacks the boards ...
Honestly, I can't put my finger on it, but my own personal reason is the way he seems to play the game with abandon, but unlike Reggie Evans, he actually has some ability.
The craziest thing about Fortson is that he didn't come into the league as a wide-bodied banger, but as a scorer and shooter.
"Has anyone figured out why we like Fortson so much?"
Personally, it's because he's pretty much the only player on the team that can do much of anything down low, both on offense and defense.
